Here is my custom-made survival tin. This is also my entry to the Equip 2 Endure survival kit contest. This is, what I believe, to be the most effective kit I could put together in such a small package. There will never be the “end-all” survival tin, but it’s fun trying! Please watch with annotations. I always forget to say something, so I instead of doing another take, I just annotate it. Most of the stuff is actually taken from three other kits I made/bought before. A AMK Pocket Survival Pak, Ranger Rick SOS Survival Key Chain, and a SAS Survival Tin I made. I condensed the best of each kit into a single, light weight and thin tin that I can take anywhere.
@Cheeseonpieassassin you can use an altoids size tin. U can get theese items at many places. 4 thread you can go into your local store and into the sewing section. 4 a mini knife you probably should go 2 walmart. Electrical tape you can get at your home improvement store. And many other items shud b at a store or if u wanna know badly google it.
Can u tell me where i can get this stuff.
Also, wat size tin do I need?
Thnx
Awesome kit, great info. I used what info I wanted and made adjustments according to my wants. I use a band aid tin it barely fits in
The pouch of my knife but holds alot more. Thanks to all who contribute to this kind of information.
awesome kit man I love it
I need to know the name and or where you acquired that magnesium and flint rod please.
great kit and video, i would recommend adding some tin foil, it takes up near to no space when folded and can be used for boiling water, cooking, and even signaling.
cool survial tin very good
Great kit, gave me some ideas for kit.Thank you.
just dip the heads of the matchs in hot candle wax !
wherr did u get the fire steel stick?
….Tactical Safety Pins???
how how is General Direction? i heard he retired
this is the ideal survival tin imo. i’d probably squeeze a mini bic in there, but i do like the addition of a flashlight. a lot of guys don’t include one for some reason. the fenix E01 is another good option. it’s 10 lumens, about the size of a AAA battery, and has a 24+ hour run time.
great kit!
made a kit to
just a question: if you’re packing bandaids, shouldn’t you pack something to desinfect, e.g. alcohol wipes?
Ive never understood the wire saw. I been camping a million times and never needed to saw anything. Every kit has one in it, but Ive never needed it.
well done
nice kit. ours are very similar. hey, I’d dip the matches in wax. it seals out moisture and gives them a longer burn time.
Dude that looks exactly like my tin
Cool vid good work on the kit
nicely done.
@timjseg I live somewhat close to one, but not right next to it.
TF do live on the railroad ?
Good job on the kit man…
Suggestion: Put the signal mirror at the top. Makes it quick to access and it also prevents everything else from falling out.
